ASTR The Label

I’m so excited to share my recommendations from a lesser known brand that offers good quality and affordable pieces. I own several dresses from the brand, and I am sharing a few of my favorites that are included in the Black Friday sale on Nordstrom. ASTR The Label offers on-trend dresses and faux fur jackets, perfect for the winter season. They are also a fraction of the price compared to items I usually recommend.

Black Friday: Ganni

I have picked a few of my favorites from a brand that is great quality for the price and offers amazing pieces that work from day-to-night. Ganni is a great brand to watch because they create items that classic with a modern twist. Some pieces may be in a quirky print and is not something that everyone is wearing. I do love to wear apparel that is feminine with a bit of edge, and I feel that Ganni is just that.

These items are featured on Nordstrom, where you will find them 30-50% off retail. If you love any of these items, it is a great time to add them to your wardrobe at a fraction of the price. Also, for a designer brand they are quite affordable. While the cream and pink dress featured above make more of a statement, the classic leather mini dress, oxblood patent jacket, and pink sweater would fit into a capsule wardrobe.

I already purchased the blouse version of the cream print georgette dress shown above, and it is absolutely stunning. It has pleats throughout the fabric, and feels like 100% silk. It is super girly, and perfect for a romantic date night. As it gets colder, I would even wear the pink sweater on top of the dress.

You could pair the leather mini dress with the sheer organza blouse. Ganni pieces easily mix and match, and the brand has both very classic and very unique, statement pieces. Happy Shopping!

I am obsessed with the snakeskin trend and I wanted to showcase some ways to incorporate this look into an everyday outfit.

Zimmerman Sale

While I love a good basic, I have fallen hard lately for statement florals that amp up the femininity and can be styled in a more edgy way. I gravitate to Zimmerman when it comes to dresses.

Zimmerman creates day-to-night girly dresses, that transcend the seasons and look stunning paired with modern accessories.

I only recommend dresses that I see myself wearing and loving for years to come. Each of these is definitely an investment.

I do prefer to get high-end dresses, statement pieces and eye-catching prints when I can get them on sale. I do re-wear my prints, but still can’t re-wear them the same way I could a plain black dress, so getting a discount is smart shopping.

I do believe that separates are more practical, but a well-made dress is a one-piece outfit that makes getting dressed, effortless. These are my top 6 investment dresses. Yes, they pack a punch, but they also have an aura of classic femininity about them.
