Nordstrom Dress Edit

Bringing you a second Nordstrom Anniversary post to feature a few dresses that I think are heavy hitters that you can reach for through Fall (and one, specifically, right now.) Recently, I attended a last minute birthday event and it was super helpful to have a few dress options, ready to go. (In full disclosure, I wore the butter yellow floral dress shown below.) There is also a navy floral option on clearance at Nordstrom. This particular dress isn’t included in the anniversary sale, but it is still on sale.

I do advise always having a handful of dresses on hand that you love for the season. Then when an event calls for a dress, you aren’t frantically buying something that you don’t really love. These options have longevity and are timeless, while still feeling current.

Because I loved the look of the yellow floral dress so much, I purchased the Chelsea28 dress in red jelly, which is a beautiful rust shade for Fall, with feminine details including the smocked waist and ruffle trim.

The sweater dress could work from office to date night, depending on how formal you dress. I love this for casual weekends when you want to look pulled together. The monochrome black buttons and sleek collar give this knitted dress a very sleek, minimal look.

The Nordstrom suede shift dress has gone in and out of stock throughout the sale; I would recommend saving it to your wish list and turning on notifications for when it becomes available again. It’s lovely for a Fall/Winter date night, especially with caramel boots and your favorite neutral handbag. Nordstrom styled this with their leopard coat, and I must say the combination of leopard with this rich caramel suede is stunning.
